CT Walks For Haiti runs an annual walk-a-thon and festival to fund the projects of charities working in Haiti. Since 2010, CT Walks For Haiti has raised over $185,000 for educational, medical and nutritional programs. The tenth annual walk and festival will take place on April 27, 2019.

Haitian Health Foundation

HHF brings healthcare services, education and sustainable development to a population of over 225,000 people in over 100 rural mountain villages. There is still so much to do but HHF continues to change lives - one person at a time.


$5,000 to address the increased food insecurity in Jeremie since Hurricane Matthew.

Medical Aid to Haiti

Medical Aid to Haiti, Inc. (MATH) is a Connecticut based, non-profit charitable organization with the following mission: Helping Haitians heal Haitians by providing needed resources for the care and treatment of their poor. MATH is seeking contributions for its recently established mobile medical clinic in Haiti. The mobile clinic and its Haitian staff operate in and around Port au Prince, Haiti on a regular basis to provide a desperately needed continuum of care. $5,000 to fund two month's supply of medications for the clinic pharmacy in Port-au-Prince.

Haitian Humanitarian Network

Haitian Humanitarian Network is a 501C3 nonprofit established in 2003 to provide basic health care and humanitarian aid to the poor and needy people in rural Haiti. HHN established and supports the Erline and Armelle clinic in Beaulieu as part of the primary mission to assist all those in need in Beaulieu and surrounding areas.


$5,000 for supplies to rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Matthew.

Outreach to Haiti

Outreach to Haiti supports around 200 students with scholarships, allowing them to attend schools and universites and to receive medical care. Outreach runs a clinic that treats more than 4000 people annually. It provides asistance to two orphanages, a school and nutrtion programs for malnourished infants, children and expectant mothers. For more then 25 years, Outreach has administered a twinning program that brings together parishes, schools and orphanages in Haiti with parishes, a high school and other US organizations. $5,000 to pay the annual salary for a trained community Health Agent.

Operation Unisson Inc.

Operation Unisson is a grassroots organization that has been working in Haiti since 2010. We provide health education education and health promotion for children in Haiti. We primarily work with children who are restavek, domestic servants. These children are considered modern-day slaves. We believe in the power of knowledge and education to help create a better future for Haiti.


$5,000 to fund critical health education for vulnerable Haitian children during summer camp.

Camp Hispaniola Inc.

Camp Hispaniola, Inc. provides children in Pernier and those living in bateyes, the sugar plantations, a place to enjoy exciting activities in a safe environment. The 10-day camp includes arts, crafts, music, poetry, dance and sports. Two delicious meals are served, including one hot one. Each camper receives a kit: T-shirt, backpack, flip-flops, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, underwear and washcloth.


$5,000 to buy food to feed 463 campers, 60 counselors and 8 cooks for 10 days.
